Educational Services

Sunday School: ISC offers morning classes for both children and adults. Classes include Arabic, Qur’an, and Islamic Studies.

Sunday school starts at 10:30 am till 1 pm weekly on Sundays. It is a two class session each for one hour followed by snack (pizza and juice)

Islamic Studies Program:

For grown-ups, ISC provides Islamic Studies classes during the weekends on Arabic, Qur’an, Tajweed, Hadith, Tafsir, ‘Aqeedah, Fiqh (‘Ibadat or Acts of Worship & Fiqh of Muslim Minorites in the West).

Islamic studies class starts at 10:30 am till 11:30 am on Sunday and it is given by Imam Mustafa Khattab.

Social Services

Monthly Potluck Dinner: On the first Saturday of the solar month, ISC organizes a community potluck dinner followed by a lecture by the imam and Q&A.

Religious Questions & Fatwas:

Through his email (, the imam tends to the questions raised by the community on social and religious matters. Questions and answers are confidential between the imam and the questioner(s).


The imam is also ready to counsel Muslim family in any issue related to their social, marital, and familial life through email or in person. Issues related to the Muslim youth, identity, etc. may also be discussed. Check imam office hours.

Financial Assistance:

ISC accepts donations, charity, Zakah, and Sadaqatul-Fitr from congregants to provide for the mosque and help the needy.

Community Outreach Program:

Non-Muslims are welcome to come to the mosque for observation on Friday (Friday congregation 1:30 p.m. and 3: p.m.)
ISC welcomes invitations from local churches, synagogues, temples and other houses of worship to send a representative from the mosque to lecture on Islam, clarify misconceptions about the Muslim faith, and to highlight the common grounds between world faiths (such as scriptural emphasis on global ethics, etc.).
