Sheikh Muhammad Mustafa is the imam of the Islamic Society of Clemson (ISC). He first served the Muslim community in Clemson in November 2013.

 

Born in Egypt, he graduated from Al-Azhar University (the oldest institution of higher studies in the world and the most prestigious academy of Sunni Islam). Sheikh Muhammad got his B.A. (2002) and M.A. in Islamic Studies in English with Distinction. He is currently working on his PhD.

 

He worked as an Imam in Egypt, after his graduation from Al Azhar University, Languages and Translation Faculty – Islamic Studies in English, he attached the media filed , becoming specialist in Islamic channels. he worked as an islamic translator in many works such as :  live English translation of Ramadan “Taraweeh” prayers from TV studios at the Sacred Mosque in Mecca for many years. He also was the Programing and religious editor of Huda TV  for many years. He was a student for many scholars, as he memorized the Glorious Quran and many books of Fiqh (Jurisprudence). His master thesis was in Comparative Religion, its title “Prophethood in the Qadiani Concept through their Translation to the Glorious Quran and the Sunnah”.

Office will be open between Maghrib and Eisha ( usally between 6:00pm to 9:00pm). Office will be unoccupied on all prayer times. For details refer Imam’s Office Hours
